Holiday stockings for The Haven!

One of NLQG’s goals is to spread the beauty and comfort of quilts to community organizations and individuals who may be experiencing need or crisis. The Comfort Quilts Committee coordinates the completion of quilts by members, and distribution throughout the region and beyond.

Recipients include families who have been displaced due to house fires or other emergencies, Dismas House, Good Beginnings, The Haven, Family Resource Center, Rogers House, Bayada Hospice, WISE, Jack Byrne Center for Palliative & Hospice Care, Turning Points Network, and many others over the years. The guild has also sent quilts out of state in response to natural disasters.
